Al Shukle's Gilbert Erector-Built Giant Powerplant

Al writes: "[This is] a slightly modified Giant Power Plant. Tower is simplified using 4 'square' girders. Two drive cylinders with steam chests have fixed valve timing. Horizontal crossheads have built-up connectors using H 11 hole strips, N long double angles, M small double angles and P-37 collars. MZ bearing blocks used instead of MC base plates on vertical crossheads. Governor is homemade using brass parts."
