Bob Galler's Parachute Jump

Bob writes: "I offer this photo of my recently made extra large Parachute Jump. There are eight parachutes, four white, four red. The height from floor to flag is 108". The drive is from an Erector motor, and segment gear, but uses some Meccano parts and ball bearings to get smooth running action. There is a separate switch for lights and motor. I could not use the standard Erector light socket as the frame as massive as it is with so many lights caused voltage drop and too much resistance. Operates fine."
