Orjan Jansson's Meccano Airplanes

Hi folks, Doc here. From Sweden comes Orjan and his wonderful Meccano airplane designs. The tiny ones (MMM) are very clever, and the large model is quite elegant. I see flashes of Fw 190, with a little ME-109, P51, and even P39D in it, among others. I hope we'll see more from Orjan here in the future...

Orjan writes: "I must admit that the gigantic [Meccano] models people have assembled from thousands of pieces are really amazing, but have you ever come across MMM? That is a concept I picked up from a Dutch Meccano enthusiast on the web. Meccano Micro Models - the pieces for a model are supposed to fit into one hand. (You've probably already found the site in The Meccano Web Ring). [Here are] my first attempts in this genre - a 'Ryan ST' and a 'GeeBee' plane, as well as my attempt to make a synthesis of a fighter plane from WW2, made from the pieces I then owned."
