Randy Sauder's 1920's Erector Tool Shop

Randy writes: "This 1920's era model tool shop was built over a 3 year span (2007-2010) in about 600 man hours. It was built from scratch and is an original design. Most of the parts are from early 20th Century A.C. Gilbert wood box erector sets. Some parts are Meccano, Structo and others. The shop is powered by four A-49 electric motors. The shop was fortunate to win "Best Model Builder" and one of the "Best Gilbert Display" awards at the 2011 Chicago ACGHS National Convention. You can view the model in action in the video below. The pictures and video were all taken by me. The little boy in the last picture is my grandson viewing the wonder of A.C. Gilbert."
